Country music sweetheart Taylor Swift wrapped up the European leg of her Speak Now tour on the weekend and was rewarded by her record company with a giant plaque for selling 20 million albums around the world.

It’s an impressive achievement considering the multiple Grammy award winner is just 21-years-old and has only released three albums.

“It’s just sort of beyond my comprehension to get a plaque like that, and the fact the fans have done that much for me in such a short period of time is unreal,” Kanye’s nemesis told journalists after the presentation.

“I’m so excited and so thankful.”

Australian fans made a significant contribution to that total.

Taylor has sold more than half a million records in this country – apparently still not enough to warrant a stop on her world tour though.
