US Hitmaker forms K-Pop band

Legendary music producer Teddy Riley has joined forces with a Korean record company to create a new girlband, which will be launched in both Asia and America.

The unlikely move highlights the growing international popularity of K-Pop and makes Rania the first Korean act hatched with US chart domination in mind.

Riley’s involvement will no doubt open a lot of doors for the 7 piece group.

He has worked with everyone from Michael Jackson to Snoop Dogg and recently contributed a track to Lady Gaga’s Grammy winning Fame Monster album.

Rania’s first single Dr. Feel Good will be released in both English and Korean but it’s clear from the sexy lyrics about being tied to chairs that they are aiming for Western success.

The video clip is equally raunchy but the highlight is the tightly choreographed dance moves, which were put together by Lady Gaga’s one time collaborator Richard Jackson.

Teddy Riley will launch the group in Korea first before bringing them over to America later in the year.
