Cruising the harbour on Boxing Day
The Australian Sailing and Cruising Club is planning its annual Boxing Day bash — a chartered cruise to watch the Sydney to Hobart race start — and has extended a welcome to potential new members.
Established in 1991, the group developed to encourage boating within the GLBT community as well as to put enthusiasts in touch with each other, and give people a chance to learn the craft.
Members and guests are invited to bring friends along to the four-hour cruise, which includes a BBQ lunch on board with drinks available for purchase from the bar.
Plus, you’ll get to watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart race from the best vantage point possible — Sydney Harbour.
