Help Maxi jet off

Where would the Sydney Convicts be without their irrepressible drag queen mascot, Maxi Shield? The diva has put in tireless hours over the years supporting the team with charity shows, ambassador work and publicity. With the Convicts jetting off soon to defend their title at the Bingham Cup, Maxi realised she’d have to stay home due to a lack of funds. Enter the Convicts with a fundraiser this Saturday, June 5 from 6pm at Bondi FM in 143 Curlewis Street. It’s $20 entry with food, wine, ambience – and its all for a great cause.
