Melbourne’s Maltese gay support group Kif Inti has honoured Hobsons Bay Council Mayor Tony Briffa with a special dinner to celebrate his recent mayoral win. Briffa has Maltese parents and was born with an intersex condition.

He has been a fierce advocate for LGBTI issues during his time on council and marched in this year’s Pride March in his mayoral robes. The dinner was organised through LGBTI radio show GO WEST on community radio station WYN-FM in Melbourne’s west.
