Lady Gaga has spent years making an entrance. Her arrival into motherhood, however, appears to have happened away from the spotlight.

The singer has apparently welcomed her first baby with fiancé Michael Polansky, according to People

Gaga’s representatives had not responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment when the report was published.

Lady Gaga becomes a mother

For an artist whose public life is built around spectacle, the details of Lady Gaga’s recent arrival into motherhood appear to have been kept completely under wraps.

The baby’s name, sex, and birth date have not been publicly disclosed, with the Born This Way singer not even announcing her pregnancy prior to the newborn’s arrival.

Photographs reported by Page Six show the couple out walking in Northern California, with Gaga carrying the newborn close to her chest.

Gaga finished her global Mayhem Ball tour in April this year, with the singer rarely being sighted since.

While her baby news may feel sudden, Gaga’s wish to become a parent has been anything but secret.

Speaking to Stephen Colbert in October 2025, she made her priorities clear: “What I really want is to be a mom.”

She called motherhood her “next starring role, I hope.”

There is also a lovely family connection behind the relationship with herself and her fiancé Michael Polansky.

In her 2024 Vogue cover interview, Gaga explained that her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, had met Polansky before she did and suspected he could be her future husband.

Gaga and Polansky eventually connected in 2019.

During the pandemic, their relationship grew, with the pair later becoming engaged in April 2024, following a day of rock climbing.

Now Gaga and Polansky will embark on the newest phase of their relationship as they navigate parenthood together.

Whilst Gaga has long been known as Mother Monster, the nickname will inevitably take on fresh meaning for fans as they eagerly follow this interesting new chapter in her life.
