Absolute Almod?
In the lead-up to the release of Spanish film great Pedro Almod?’s latest work Volver, Dendy Opera Quays is holding a four-day retrospective of his career this weekend. Focus On Pedro Almod? begins with a screening of Volver on Friday 24 November. Starring Pen?pe Cruz, pictured, the film is billed as a colourful celebration of women and mothers. The retrospective’s seven other films include the gay-themed All About My Mother and camp classics such as Kika and High Heels. Each film screens once over the four days.
