I could really have chosen any of these guys’ so-called nite versions. They’re all stupefyingly good, but this one is my fave this week. It has a real rock feel to it but breaks down with an insane, fist-pumping electro-fuzz riff that starts wild and just gets wilder.

Bj?meets Cyndi Lauper at the drugstore after studying all day in the library. This song made me dance like a retard the moment I heard it.

One of my treasures. I have a Depeche Mode obsession the size of Texas and this one always quenches my desire -¦ temporarily. I recently bought out half a shop worth of DM stuff and don’t regret a penny spent. Timeless music for dancefloors and, well, everything.

I love the old stuff too. I discovered this swirling, shiny, late 70s disco-electro gem some time last year and suddenly knew what all the Moroder fuss was about (it’s more than just I Feel Love). I thought it would be my little secret but then I heard Miss Kittin play it on NYE and I felt cheated and vindicated all at the same time. You know how it is.
