Mardi Gras sets AGM date

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will hold its has announced that their annual general meeting (AGM) will take place on Saturday, August 18.

Notices of Business to be considered at the AGM must be submitted in writing to the Company Secretary at the Mardi Gras office, Suite 6, 94 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, by 5pm on July 18. Notices must be signed by two members.

If you wish to nominate a member as a candidate for election as a director of the Company at the AGM, a nomination form from the company’s offices must be completed and signed by the nominated candidate and two additional members.

Completed nomination forms – available for the Mardi Gras office – must be received by the Company Secretary at the Mardi Gras office by 5pm July 20.

Mardi Gras recently conducted an online survey to gauge feedback  of its contentious name change, with the results to be discussed at the AGM.
