Don’t forget there will be marriage rallies in three capital cities this Saturday, May 21.

Queenslanders can head to Queen’s Park in Brisbane (opp Treasury Casino, corner George and Elizabeth streets, Brisbane City) for the rally which is scheduled to start at 1pm.

The Sydney rally will be held at Sydney Town Hall on George Street, also from 1pm and will be hosted by Star Observer board member and Hungry Beast presenter Monique Schafter, alongside Triple-J announcer and singer-songwriter Brendan MacLean.

Those on the western coast can head to Perth’s Murray Street Mall in Forest Place, also at 1pm, where Equal Love organisers will calling for marriage equality in Australia.

The next Melbourne Equal Love rally is scheduled for August 13. The 1pm event will be held at the State Library on the corner of Swanston and La Trobe streets in the city.

And Canberra will play host to a marriage equality rally on Saturday, May 28, with the rally scheduled for 1pm at Petrie Plaza.
