Natalie Bassingthwaite will perform a specially written track as the climax to her headlining performance at this year’s Mardi Gras party.

The former Neighbours star and Rogue Trader gone solo was today named as the key performer on an extensive list of musical acts to be featured during the party.

The London West End performer Alison Jear will also make her way to the stage to perform, amongst other numbers, her clubbing anthem I Just Wanna Dance.

These performances are sure to typify the mood at the Royal Hall of Industries, which New Mardi Gras assures will stay true to its clubbing roots with Kitty Glitter, Wayne G and Dan Murphy all confirmed on the DJ line-up.

Paul Oakenfold -” the handpicked opening act for Madonna’s World Tour -” will also perform on the night at the Hordern Pavilion, where the emphasis will be on house and progressive house tracks. Brent Nicholls, Alan Thompson and Mike Kelly will also play the Hordern.

Rock and electroclash fans have not been forgotten, with a special line-up planned at the Forum, which will follow on from the success of last year’s foray into live music. The Ones and Infusion will both perform alongside electro DJs Avra, Dan Random and Matt Vaughn.

The full lists of party line-ups and booking details are now available.
