Spain’s most celebrated dance company, Compania Nacional de Danza, is returning to Sydney next year as part of the Sydney Festival. The 30-dancer-strong troupe, under the guidance of acclaimed artistic director Nacho Duato, will perform two different programs – Three Works and Alas – blending classic and modern dance with a distinctly Spanish visual flair.
Three Works will open 6 January at Star City’s Lyric Theatre, while Alas opens 11 January at the same venue.
Tickets start at $50 and are available from Ticketmaster on 1300 723 038 or www.sydneyfestival.org.au.
