Surviving sexual assault

It’s a sensitive topic, but regular JOY94.9 ‘adults only’ radio show, Hide and Seek will tackle the often taboo subject of sexual assault on tonight’s program.
Hosted by Dean Beck and James Findlay, the show will include an expert line-up including, Victorian Police Gay & Lesbian Liaison Unit Acting Sergeant, Gabrielle Tyacke, Victoria Police Sexual Offences & Child Abuse Unit Senior Sergeant Trish Duke and South East Centre Against Sexual Assault CEO, Carolyn Worth.
“Sadly 38 percent of girls and 9 percent of boys will be sexually assaulted before they turn 18 and at least one home in every ten involves incest…these figures are simply horrific,” Beck said.
“Both James and myself are honoured and very pleased to be presenting this special edition of Hide & Seek on Sexual Assault, as part of JOY 94.9’s commitment to Community Safety Month.”
You can tune into the program from 11pm tonight.
