Seattle-based boylesque documentary Waxie Moon will screen at this year’s Queer Fruits Film Festival in Lismore. Marc Kenison takes the world of neo-burlesque by storm as Waxie Moon in this hilarious and thought-provoking portrait of one artist’s unlikely journey. The film festival was established to provide a vital regional screen culture event to enable the GLBTIQ communities and wider community to participate in the celebration and innovation of international queer filmmaking culture. The festival opens Tuesday, December 29.
