The CoastOut festival will hit Coffs Harbour for the second time from October 28 – 30.

This year’s festival is jam-packed with things to do — everything from a surfing competition to a conference, a film festival, fair day and barefoot bowls, and a couple of parties thrown in for good measure.

The first year was a big success. Who would have thought that Coffs Harbour could have so much glitter, colour and fabulousness? Many favourite events remain, and a couple of new events have been added to tantalise your taste buds even further.

As with last year, ACON will have a presence at a number of the events during the weekend. We’ll be at the Welcome Cocktail Party on Friday, October 28 where we’ll be selling raffle tickets for your chance to win some amazing prizes. ACON will sell raffle tickets throughout the weekend.

On Saturday we’ll make our way to the Beach Carnival to take part in some of the frivolities in the sun. Keep your eyes peeled for team ACON — you might see us taking part in some handbag throwing.
Saturday night sees the CoastOut Concert, followed by the dance party, Sweet, where ACON Rovers will mingle among the crowd to assist partygoers to have a safe and fun time.

On Sunday, we start off with Barefoot Bowls at 9am at the Park Beach Bowling Club. Whether you’re an early riser, or on the way home from the night before, come and have a game of bowls with us. There will be DJs and a breakfast BBQ as well. $2.50 from every ticket will be donated to ACON.

Then it’s off to Fair Day at Park Beach Reserve. This is a great event for the whole family. There will be music, performances, food and stalls. Keep an eye out for the ACON Clinic with a bit of a difference. Come over and say hello!
