US actor Jeffery Self has released a parody of Taylor Swift’s worldwide hite Bad Blood called Sad Studs, raising awareness on the FDA in its ban on gay men donating blood on the proviso they do not have sex for 12 months.
The clip is full of buff men trying to temp Self into having sex, but he resists in order to be able to donate blood.
This resonates with Australia, in which the local FDA equivalent, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), oversees a similar blanket ban on men giving blood if they’ve had any sexual contact with another man in the past 12 months.
