Foxtel to fast track RuPaul’s AllStars 2 direct from US

AFTER an organised campaign to lobby Foxtel to fast track the upcoming season of Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars 2, Melbourne drag queen Karen from Finance is excited to begin hosting screening of new episodes.

All Stars 2 will air on Foxtel’s Arena channel on Fridays at 8.30pm, only hours after episodes are aired in the US.

Karen reached out to Foxtel with an open letter and social media campaign to pressure the pay-TV company into airing the new episodes as soon as possible.

“We know how passionate RuPaul fans are. Foxtel has been working closely with the production company, World of Wonder, and Passion Distribution and we are thrilled they have made it possible for the series to air in Australia just hours after its US telecast,”  Stephen Baldwin, Foxtel’s Head of Channels said.

Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars 2 will have 10 of the most celebrated competitors vying for a second chance to enter Drag Race history, will be filled with plenty of heated competition, lip- syncing for their legacy and, of course, the All-Stars Snatch Game.

All Stars 2 will feature YouTube sensation Todrick Hall, Carson Kressley and Michelle Visage on the judging panel alongside RuPaul and celebrity guest judges including; Raven- Symone, Ross Matthews, Jeremy Scott, Nicole Schedrzinger, Graham Norton and Aubrey Plaza.

The All Stars queens hoping to earn their place among Drag Race royalty are: Adore Delano (S6), Alaska (S5), Alyssa Edwards (S5), Coco Montrese (S5), Detox (S5), Ginger Minj (S7), Katya (S7), Phi Phi O’Hara (S4), Roxxxy Andrews (S5) and Tatianna (S2).

Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 2 will screen Fridays at 8.30pm from August 26 on Foxtel’s Arena.
