Conference deadline looms
Submissions for Australia’s top health conference on same-sex attracted and gender and sex diverse people close this week. The National LGBTI Health Alliance is calling for submissions from individuals and organisations until Sunday December 9.
The theme of next year’s Health in Difference conference is “Our bodies, our minds” and will focus on issues including aged care, mental health, gender and sex diverse health and different approaches to LGBTI health.
It brings together researchers, community organisations, health practitioners, policy makers, advocates and community members who are interested in improving community health.
The 2013 conference is the eighth conference since it began in 1996. It will be held in Melbourne from April 18-20.
