Lesbian playwright No?e Janaczewska’s latest play Songket opens in June at the Sydney Opera House Studio, presented by the Studio and Griffin Theatre. The play won the 2001 Playbox Asialink playwriting competition, the 2002 Griffin Award and was short-listed for the Patrick White Playwrights’ Award. I suspect it might be good.
