Bursting the bubble

Bursting the bubble

Bubble, a dark, comical production about the barriers we put up between ourselves and the world, is about to burst into Sydney.

The play, set in a living room, pushes the boundaries in relation to how we see society.

The audience becomes a vehicle parked at various crossroads in different stages of the characters’ lives, giving insight into the different generations. This example of absurd theatre is directed by Rowan Marchingo and stars some of Sydney’s up and coming actors.

But it’s not all dark and deep -” the characters are dressed in a colourful array of sexy burlesque costumes with a smattering of lipstick and rouge.
