Time running out to register for World Outgames
If you want to make it to the second World Outgames in Copenhagen, Denmark later this year, it’s time to get your act together. Registrations close in just a few weeks, on April 30.
The second World Outgames will be held from July 25 to August 2. There will be tournaments in 38 different sports disciplines -” from aerobics to wrestling -” for competitors at all skills levels.
In addition, there will be a wide variety of cultural events including performances, exhibitions and parties to inspire, provoke and make you dance like crazy.
World Outgames 2009 will also feature a human rights conference addressing issues and concerns of the LGBT community.
A number of Sydney sports teams will be attending the games, so whether you want to compete in a sporting event or participate in any of the conferences and cultural events the city will have on offer, you’ve got until April 30 to register.
