Brisbane Leather Week 2026, a collaboration between non-profit organisations BootCo Brisbane and Queensland Leather Pride, kicks off Saturday 5 September 2026. Running until 13 September, the celebration of Brisbane’s diverse kink and fetish community will take place ahead of Brisbane Pride Festival, with over 11 events across 9 venues.

The Events Kicking Off Brisbane Leather Week 2026

Leather Swap: To kick things off, Brisbane Leather Week is joining forces with the Four Seasons Markets to host the biggest leather swap yet. The market, to be held at 11am on 5 September at the Sportsman Hotel, invites attendees to browse, shop, swap, connect, and immerse themselves in the heart of the leather community.

Tom’s Bar: Similarly, BootCo is starting Leather Week strong with their annual tribute to the pioneer of fetish himself, Tom of Finland. Also on Saturday 5 September at the Sportsman Hotel, this sweaty party will transform the venue from 8pm into a celebration of male-identifying kinksters, all decked out in their favourite uniform, leather, or denim pieces.

What’s Kinky? Well, Lots.

Kinky Trivia: Think you know your leather history? Can you tell your hanky codes from your harnesses? Is your knowledge as impressive as your gear collection? If so, this event asks only one thing of you: Come To Daddy. And by that, they mean rock up to Brisbane’s aptly named West End cocktail bar on Sunday 6 September at 4pm.

Kinky Bingo: Noticing a theme? Rock up to the Sportsman Hotel on Wednesday 9 September at 7pm for your chance to enjoy an afternoon packed with cheeky fun, friendly faces, and just the right amount of mischief.

The Events Closing Off Brisbane Leather Week 2026

Leather Dinner & Awards Night: This is definitely Brisbane Leather Week’s most formal night, to be held 10 September at 6pm at the Hotel Grand Chancellor. The famous dinner is where the recipients for the Volunteer of the Year and Noel Lewington Awards will be announced, each recognising phenomenal contributions to the Brisbane LGBTQIA+ community.

Grand Final & Afterparty: At 6pm on Friday 11 September at VENTspace, the winners of the Mr Queensland Leather, Ms Queensland Leather, Queensland Leather Boy, and Queensland Kinkster 2026 competition will be announced.

Afterburn: Want to dance? Want to play? Maybe even burn off some of that energy after a week of seeing so many delectable leather people? This sexy, gender-inclusive play party is from 6pm on Saturday 12 September at The Den.

Corium: For this staple party, think Afterburn, but wetter. Taking place on Saturday 12 September from 7pm at WET SPA & SAUNA, it promises a hot and steamy night of filth.

Other noteworthy events include a cigar and bowling social, and a BBQ pool party to cap off the week. To find out more or register for a Brisbane Leather Week event, visit bootco.com.au
