Breakfast network on the move

The Newtown Breakfast Network Group has relocated to Bitton Gourmet in Erskineville.
The move has proven a popular choice as there is easier access to the store and more parking options.
The CBD Group has also had a change of venue, moving to the Angel Cafe in Angel Place.
The other two Breakfast Network Groups are in Darlinghurst and Surry Hills.
Being a member of the breakfast groups is a key benefit of being a member of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association. The groups run fortnightly in various locations from 7.30-8.30am and offer members a chance to meet other like-minded business owners and professionals.
Referrals are an important aspect that evolves over time -” often not so much the attendees using each other’s services but other business friends and colleagues they may introduce, breakfast network director Greg Reynolds said.
There is a good mix of business owners and professionals in each group. Only one profession or business specialisation is allowed in each group to maintain a good cross-section of businesses. However, there are often specialisations within business so some groups have more than one lawyer or accountant where there is no crossover of services provided.
These groups have proven to be valuable to members. Fruits in Suits and Lemons With A Twist have grown in size over the years so these breakfast groups provide a quieter and more focused networking opportunity.

info: There are vacancies for various businesses in each group. If you are interested in joining email Greg at [email protected] or call him on 0420 995 962.
