Calling all stallholders
If you’re looking to sell your wares at next year’s Midsumma Carnival, now’s the time to get organised.
Registrations are now open for the 2013 Carnival Day (the biggest event on the Midsumma calendar) to be held on Sunday, January 13 at Birrarung Marr along the Yarra River.
Around 120,000 people turned up to celebrate the day this year and similar crowds are expected in 2013. Early bird prices for stallholders are available.
In related news, a Midsumma fundraiser party will be held on Friday, July 13 to help keep Carnival Day free to the public. The party, A Midsumma Night’s Dream, will be held at Room in Hawthorn. Tickets $20 and available online. All proceeeds to Midsumma.
