Equality card for Wills and Kate

Equality card for Wills and Kate

Gay marriage supporters will take a gigantic wedding card to Buckingham Palace today and offer it to Prince William and his bride-to-be, Kate Middleton,

“Congratulations William and Kate on your Wedding Day. We wish you a happy life together. You can get married, gay people can’t. We are banned by law. We ask you to support marriage equality. Equal=Love,” the card reads.

Organiser Peter Tatchell said the point was clear.

“The royal couple are lucky: they have the option to get married. Gay couples don’t have this option. They are barred by law from marriage.”

Eight couples who have asked the European Court of Human Rights to end the ban on same-sex civil unions in the UK will also attend the protest.

  1. Hi there

Why try bringing Kate and William into all this?

They had a Christian marriage at the Westminster Abbey and confronting them with this at all especially on their special day is an absolute NO NO. It is not their responsibility to support same sex marriage.

Have you heard of such a thing in the Royal family?

Why did you not consider putting your request before Her Majesty.

The coming together of 2 people of the same sex is a lifestyle choice – it is contrary to nature and and unbiblical; why are you asking for it to be legalised?

This is not the responsibility of William and Kate so PLEASE leave them alone and let them focus on living their lives as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

You are very fortunate to be in the West; you dare not try such an act in some parts of the world – you would have been long bundled up and your poster trashed.
