Beyoncé drops another Girls preview

Beyoncé dropped a second preview of her long overdue Run The World (Girls) video this morning.

It is hoped the Francis Lawrence-directed opus will revive interest in the song, which has suffered from a lack of promotion. In fact, there were rumours the Switch-produced anthem would be skipped entirely for a new track called Till The End Of Time.

But if the preview is any indication, fans will be glad Bey stuck with Run The World (Girls).

The clip has a striking post-apocalyptic theme with a bunch of extremely fierce ladies lounging around the desert, looking fabulous in skimpy skirts and shorts.

Taken with the first preview that memorably featured Beyoncé riding a horse in a long, flowing wig – this could prove to be one of the best videos of 2011 – especially given the Single Ladies singer’s track record on the music video front.

There’s still no official release date, but check out the latest glimpse of Run The World (Girls) below.

  1. Absolutely AWFUL.

Does she do anything other than ’empower’ women by having them shake their bootys like a bunch of strippers?

And this song is a mess. It’s doing terribly on the charts too.
