Beyoncé’s highly anticipated new single Girls (Who Run The World) was leaked in full this morning.

The first taste of the 16 time Grammy winner’s fourth album has surprised many with its aggressive lyrics and edgy new sound.

It represents a radical change of pace for the superstar but helps set her apart from the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga, who are focusing on the dance-pop market.

The catchy female empowerment anthem, which samples Major Lazer’s club classic Pon De Floor and includes lyrics like “my persuasion can build a nation”, is set for release on April 26.

Listen to Bey’s club banger below.

Note that this is a demo and it has already been confirmed that the rap will be removed for the final version.
