Dolly reveals album title

Dolly Parton has revealed that her new album will be called Better Day.

Set for release in early 2011, it’s not clear if this is the dance album the country music legend promised fans late last year. Not that it matters to her army of Australian followers – we’re just excited and grateful that she’s included us on her 2011 tour schedule.

The diva also has a new movie with Queen Latifah called Joyful Noise due for release this year.

In an interview to promote the film, which revolves around a church choir, Dolly told Larry King about her close affinity with the gay community.

Fingers crossed those 2011 Mardi Gras party rumours are true!
