Married gay porn star couple Jesse Jackman and Dirk Caber have come under fire from Facebook after a photo they posted online of them kissing resulted in the freezing of Jackman’s Facebook account.

The picture had received thousands of likes and several hundred comments in less than 24 hours before the social media site sent notice.

Some of the comments were anti-gay, and the couple received several death threats over the photo including one that read: “I will pray for these guys, God loves the sinner, hates the sin.”

In an interview with website SFist, Jackman said:

“I received multiple public death threats after posting this photo, endured countless homophobic slurs, and received dozens upon dozens of hate-filled messages, and yet Facebook did nothing about those disgusting comments, choosing to censor love instead of hate… This is a travesty. Hate must not be allowed to prevail in this world.”

  1. Facebook should be censoring the photos of animal cruelty, hate and threats against people who share images of love, not the people who share love. An example is facebook allowing pics of almost pornographic nature, or of people showing photos of themselves holding up a dead pet they killed, but if there is a photo of a woman breastfeeding a baby they go for that and delete it. the people at facebook seem to have issues that they are reflecting in their censorship. Sad.
