Kylie’s Glee at next US assault

There’s never a dull moment at Kylie HQ. So far this week the pop legend announced a 12-date American tour and has been the subject of an unlikely but persistent rumour.

After the success of her 2009 For You, For Me tour of North America, the 42-year-old singer promised fans a quick return and she has followed through with concerts lined up from Boston to San Francisco.

The announcement of Kylie’s US tour could be the reason behind one of the week’s oddest rumours – that Glee producers are planning an episode dedicated to our pop princess along the lines of the Madonna and Britney themed episodes that ran last year.

It seems unlikely given the diva’s relatively low profile in the US, but stranger things have happened.

After all, Lea Michele named her first car Kylie as a tribute to the legendary Ms Minogue and Chris Colfer was born to sing Your Disco Needs You.
