Pink sees red over pink ponies

Pink sees red over pink ponies

Pink is facing the wrath of millions of Beliebers on Twitter after picking a fight with Justin’s girlfriend, Disney pop queen Selena Gomez, for using pink horses in her latest film clip.

The pregnant rocker heard about the theme of the tween icon’s I Love You Like A Love Song video and sent out a tweet demanding animal activists intervene: “If there are any animal activists around Malibu – at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame.”

That was apparently before she knew who was painting the ponies in the name of art – not that it changed her opinion.

She sent out another tweet saying, “oh lord, THAT’S whose video it was? Disney fans unite. here we go.”

Team Gomez then issued a statement confirming that the dye was non-toxic and vegetable-based. A representative from the Humane Society was also on set.

The 18-year-old diva is currently experiencing huge success with her feel-good anthem Who Says (below) and is pegged by many to be the next Miley Cyrus.

Was Pink a bit harsh on Bieber’s girl or should Selena be out there scrubbing those ponies clean?

  1. I pity you Pink. You think that you are being soo good by standing up for animal ‘abuse’ and the world is against u. Pink sweetie, it was a harmless dye. Harmless meaning it doesn’t harm in case you were wondering. And of course, you are right that using a harmless dye on a horse (a horse who doesn’t mind) is a much worse crime then portraying women as sex symbols. God help you!

  2. geez! pink needs to get voer herself!
i mean they have already said that an animal superviser was there and it was only vegetable based! just because pink didnt think of it!

  3. Good on you Pink. Painting animals for the sake of a music video suggests to me that the artist in question can’t be a very good singer to stoop so low.

  4. If there is no harm involved, i dont see why not.. Besides, one does want a hint of colour…
