Pop goes the Gossip

Following frontwoman Beth Ditto’s solo foray into the world of dance last year, queer indie-punk heroes Gossip will return in May with what might just be their poppiest album to date.

To be released on May 11, A Joyful Noise was produced in its entirety by Xenomania mastermind Brian Higgins, the man behind hits for the Sugababes, Cher, Kylie Minogue – and the entire oeuvre of avant-pop innovators Girls Aloud.
