Speculation about Beyoncé’s highly anticipated new single has reached fever pitch over the past couple of days with the assumed title trending on Twitter and non-stop blog coverage.

Well, the wait is finally over – kind of!

A 15 second snippet of the track has leaked and it represents a whole new sound for the 16 time Grammy winner.

The track, which is rumoured to be called Girls (Who Rule The World), samples Major Lazer’s underground dance classic Pon De Floor and has harder urban edge than anything on I Am… Sasha Fierce.

It’s hard to tell from such a brief clip but it looks like Bey has put her wig on extra tight and packed her dancing shoes for album number four!
