Comic kids get stage treatment
A production of award-winning off-Broadway hit Dog Sees God is currently playing at Newtown’s King Street Theatre.
An “unauthorised parody” of certain famous comic-strip kids, the show presents a portrait of adolescent uncertainty and cruelty, particularly the questioning of sexual identity and the toxic homophobia that pervades society.
INFO Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead runs until August 26.
