A new survey is asking LGBTI residents living in Prahran, Toorak and Malvern how queer-friendly their local government services are.

Stonnington Council has launched an online survey for residents to rate how LGTBI-friendly its services are and how they can be improved.

Other suburbs in the Stonnington Council include Armadale, Malvern East, Kooyong and parts of Glen Iris, South Yarra and Windsor.

Some of the questions ask if you’ve been verbally or physically attacked in the area and how safe you feel in various situations.

It also calls out for ideas to promote healthy lifestyles in the council area.

The survey is anonymous and open to people who live in, work in, study in and regularly visit the municipality.

Results from the survey will be present to the council’s LGTBI working group with recommendations.

The survey ends on Friday, August 10.
