Dig deep for City to Surf

The City to Surf is just a few short weeks away, which means there’s light at the end of the tunnel for all those hard training.  For anyone not donning a pair of runners on August 9 though, this is the time to give your wallet a workout.

Dozens of community members have vowed to run for charities including Twenty10 and the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation. Colin Jones, Mark Jones, Craig Hollis and Andrew Baird are all aiming to raise up to $2000 each to donate to BGF. To assist them with that goal head to the City to Surf Everyday Hero website http://www.2009worldmasters.com/The-Games/default.aspx and search for their name.  Or, if you had planned on running the event anyway, it is not too late to register your own name with a charity.
