Engagement party for all
The upcoming Engagement Party held by state Albert Park MP Martin Foley (pictured) is the best type of engagement party there is — no gifts necessary.
But the free forum will call on participants to give a little back to the community as a panel of five LGBTI rights advocates share their advocacy expertise.
Foley is inviting anyone interested to attend this open forum on the existing and future challenges for Australia’s LGBTI community on the eve of International Day Against Homophobia and
Transphobia (IDAHO).
The panel will be comprised of former Victorian hockey player Gus Johnston, Victorian Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby convenor Anna Brown, Minus18 chairman James Campbell, human rights campaigner Jamie Gardiner, and headspace CEO Chris Tanti.
The Engagement Party will be held at Robarta, St Kilda on Wednesday, May 16 from 6.30pm.
