Australian Marriage Equality (AME) and GetUp are calling for help to win an auction for an intimate dinner with Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
As part of the Canberra Press Gallery’s Midwinter Charity Ball, political leaders are auctioning off face-time for charity, including dinner for six at the Lodge with the PM.
Billed as a “unique opportunity for corporate Australia,” the two organisations are hoping to instead send a loving, committed same-sex couple to share their story.
The auction ends later tonight, so you can still help to chip in. You will immediately be refunded your donation if the groups don’t win the bid.
