Kylie Minogue will bring her critically acclaimed Aphrodite Les Folies Tour to Australia in June.

The pop princess announced this morning the Australian leg opf the tour would open in Brisbane on June 3, then head to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

“Finally, I’m able to confirm my tour dates for Australia,” the pop princess said in a statement.

“I’m bringing my Aphrodite-Les Folies Tour home in June! We started last week here in Europe and I’ve been overwhelmed by the fabulous response it’s received. I’m so very proud of the show and can’t wait to bring it to you!”

Aphrodite Les Folies has garnered Minogue the best concert reviews of her career.

With a production valued at more than US$25 million, Kylie’s Aphrodite-Les Folies Tour 2011 features more than a million moving parts, including 30 high impact water jets, rain curtains and fountains!

The bespoke stage, alone costing over $10 million, is the most technically advanced, complex and precision stage ever created for an arena and was built by Tait Towers, the largest staging company in the world, responsible for building stages for the Rolling Stones, U2 and Madonna.

The water elements in the show have been designed by the same team who engineered the famous water fountain show at Bellagio in Las Vegas, and the spectacular World of Colour show at Disneyland in California.

The Australian leg of the Aphrodite-Les Folies Tour will feature a totally unique splash zone, where fans can be the centre of the action in an amazing 4D experience. Leading technology ensures that all water used in the show is recycled throughout the performance, with a rapid filtration system cycling the water through the massive stage.

Kylie is joined on stage by a huge cast of dancers and aerial performers chosen from the best in the world along with her live band ensuring Aphrodite-Les Folies 2011 is a constant visual feast for both the eyes and ears.
