Leader of the Government in the House of Representatives, Christopher Pyne, has said he was hacked after his Twitter account ‘liked’ a tweet depicting explicit gay porn.
The original tweet of the video was posted yesterday afternoon, and Pyne’s verified account ‘liked’ it in the early hours of the morning, before he unliked it himself after he woke up.
“I was hacked overnight, I was [sleeping] at 2am,” he wrote.
“Someone tried to hack my social media yesterday. Maybe they are making mischief over the plebiscite?”
Many have taken to social media to express their views.
“Pyne celebrating marriage equality the right way,” one user wrote.
“‘Christopher Pyne has pretty good taste in gay porn’ – a real observation I just made,” another wrote.
