WONDERFUL LIFE

Tina Cousins (Low Frequency Occupation Club Mix)

The gorgeous Tina Cousins returns with this darkly evocative cover of Black’s breakout late 80s hit, Wonderful Life. The Low Frequency Occupation mix offers a disco-fied arrangement of the original with a skipping beat and the piano-led track gives the song more of a house vibe but still wisely keeps the focus on Tina’s openly soaring vocal delivery -“ a crowd-pleaser.

LOVE ON MY MIND

Freemasons feat. Amanda Wilson (Sharp Boys Royal House Vocal Mix)

This track is an infectious slab of disco-pop that slips on its sling-backs and heads straight to the floor. With summer on the horizon, disco-pop anthems like this new single from one half of Phats & Small and producer James Wiltshire (Donna Summer, Kylie, Texas) are going to be popping up like mushrooms. When it comes to setting the dancefloor on fire, this track has it.

DON’T CHA

The Pussycat Dolls (Ralphi Rosario’s Hot Freak Mix)

Originally an R&B track featuring rap star Busta Rhymes, this track’s remixes will see stripper poles being worked to death and hordes of sweaty boys letting loose on the dancefloor.

YOUR BODY

Tom Novy (Andy Van Remix)

This track is largely atmospheric, encrusted with a light zappy synth riff, an original bass line and a wicked concoction of hi-hats. It’s guaranteed to keep dancefloors moving.

I DON’T GIVE A DAMN

Lost Knowledge feat. Ray Isaac (Middle Level Mix)

This original track was written and produced by Sydney duo DJ Nick Jay and Ray Isaac and is currently being mastered for release later this year. The electro house track has a pop feel and is definitely one to watch out for this coming summer.
