  1. can’t imagine the nonsense that must accompany all this game play!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more acon waste and self-indulgence!!!!!!!!!

  2. So for gay men to be empowered or to have a strong resilient community we must learn great sex techniques?… rrrriighht… and what happens when we reach the ripe ol age where the plumbing just doesnt work anymore?

If you want to empower gay men, spend youre money on workshops that encourage gay people to be a part of the community

Oh and another thing, I have been to many workshops that ACON has provided and I must advise if you could ask youre superiors to either replace the workshop co ordinators/conductors or to send them to some sort of leadership/social interaction training when it comes to providing services for the community – allot of the times, in youre workshops and programs ESPECIALLY fun and esteem, the people who run these things create an atmosphere of exclusivness where they focus on spending all the time with their friends or the ones they want to screw – excluding everyone else in the group – really felt like highschool.

We are always carrying on about the pretentiouseness/sleaze that we get from our scene, but to have youre company mirror the negatives while parading around as a “help” icon for gay people is simply pathetic.

(insert all grammer/spelling errors – viscouse attacks, facts on why ACON is not really a company blah blah here)

  3. I help coordinate the workshops at ACON.
We run many types of workshops throughout the year for gay men and they ALL have content that discusses HIV and STIs. In “Better Sex” HIV and STI’s are covered in detail. The workshops aim to educate and empower gay men so they can make healthy decisions about the sex they have.
We want a strong and resilient community, and our workshops are one of the ways that we can help to achieve that.

  4. I dont understand why ACON is promoting the idea of having sex – ofcourse its our right and we all LOVE it blah blah blah, the point is that no service should be promting/holding events that teach sex in an age where std’s and HIV bugs are rampant.

Im sure people will be thinking “well this way they can teach people how to have sex safely so they wont get into trouble etc etc”

Its called a condom, and if it looks spotty, runny or bleeding – dont suck it – DERRR.

  5. Very interesting,Will Acon be giving free demo’s? and a panel of “Knowledgeable People” What some hookers frog-marched by gunpoint from Kingscross LOL

  6. More nonsense from the self-interested salaried officials at ACON, while impoverished hiv boys go homeless and starving!

  7. Dear acon, I am a dud root with a stinky bum…? Never mind about HIV/AIDS or safe sex education. Will I also get a glass of chardy and a pair of angel wings?

  8. Why is ACON is using public money on this rubbish ?
The next thing ACON will be proposing is a course for gay men to show them how to clean their foreskins.
Please ACON use your limited dollars more constructively.

  9. Your natural instincts as a Gay man knows what to do. You dont need a course to tell you so.
