BUSHWALKING

Southern Cross Outdoors Group will spend next weekend -“ 16, 17 and 18 May -“ exploring the walks in Warrumbungle National Park. Groups will travel up on Friday with their own tents, food, sleeping bags and water in preparation for the outdoors weekend. For more information email [email protected].

BENTSTIX HOCKEY

The Bentstix Hockey Club mens team trains every Monday from 6.30pm at Kyeemagh Hockey Field, Tancred Ave, Kyeemagh and plays every Saturday in the Sydney Hockey Association competition. If you’re interested in joining email [email protected].

RUN FOR MUM

This Mother’s Day the Frontrunners will participate in an 8km charity run, the Mother’s Day Classic, at the Domain. The event looks to raise money for breast cancer research. Starting at Art Gallery Rd at 6.30am on Sunday May 11, spectators are invited. Late entrants must arrive at the Domain before 6.30am to register.

JOIN THE AMIGOS

The Amigos bowling club is still looking for new members. Newcomers of any skill level are encouraged to head to the Randwick AMF, Alison Rd. Randwick by 7.45pm on Wednesday evenings.

DANCE SPORT

JJ’s Dance Club Inc for women holds ballroom and Latin classes Tuesdays 7pm at Rozelle and Thursdays 7pm at Annandale, plus regular social and competition dances. Private coaching is available. Details: [email protected].

Freezone Volleyball trains every Sunday from 3pm to 6pm at Sydney Boys High School Gymnasium, Cleveland St, Moore Park. Details: [email protected].

KICKING AROUND

The Sydney Rangers Football Club plays every Sunday from 3.30pm at Centennial Park, above the underground reservoir. Matches are geared towards all levels of players. If you are interested in joining, email [email protected].
