JOY seeks last minute marchers
Melbourne’s gay radio station JOY 94.9 FM is joining arm-in-arm with queer broadcasters across the country to march in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade this Saturday.
Their entry is called United Broadcasters and aims to raise awareness about the important role community radio plays in providing leadership, advocacy and support for the GLBTI communities across Australia.
The group still has some last minute marching places available and is asking community members to join in the parade and fan-fare.
JOY will be broadcasting live from the Mardi Gras parade in conjunction with Sydney station 2SER from 7pm.
