New venue for GLOBE
Blend and Fruits, Melbourne’s networking events for LGBTI professionals, have moved to Southbank.
Both events will be held at Left Bank restaurant and bar in Southbank from tonight (June 21) onwards.
The Gay & Lesbian Organisation of Business & Enterprise (GLOBE) was established in 1992 and runs both monthly networking nights.
Blend is a social networking evening for female professionals while Fruits is open to everyone.
GLOBE spokesman David Micallef said both nights were changing venues to try somewhere new.
He said the Left Bank was bigger and was “much more aligned” with GLOBE.
Fruits and Blend kick off at 6pm at Left Bank Bar.
