Star Hotel opening delayed
The re-opening of the Star Hotel, formerly the Opium Den, will not go ahead as planned.
The owners were forced to close the venue’s door after it was discovered the liquor license for the premises was not in order.
Proprietor, Peter Urbonas said he expects the license transfer to take no more than two weeks. Once complete the Star Hotel will re-open its doors once again.
Urbonas said the delayed start would give the venue time to get up and running without interruption. More details in next week’s Southern Star
