Diva, jazz singer and cabaret artist Mama Alto (Benny Dimas) will present The Porgy and Bess Project at the Butterfly Club in July as part of the 2013 Melbourne Cabaret Festival. This new jazz interpretation of the Gershwin opera Porgy & Bess is accompanied by an all-lady jazz band of Tiffanni Walton (piano), Elise Winterflood (double bass) and Monique Zucco (percussion).
