Brisbane City Council to host LGBTI Community Forum on July 28

Brisbane City Council’s Inclusive Brisbane Board will host a LGBTI Community Forum on July 28.

The event will be held at the Powerhouse in New Farm at 5:30pm.

The LGBTI Community Forum is designed with the intention of giving members of the community access to the advisory board.

Those in attendance will be granted an opportunity to raise priority issues and learn about the Council’s recent activities. The Inclusive Brisbane Board will also offer assistance to community organisations.

The board’s mandate is to advise the council on planning and development issues, specifically with community interest and social inclusion in mind.

The board is made up of representatives from the council and prominent members of Brisbane organisations and universities.

Though the event is free for all, there are limited places available and booking is essential.

Tickets are available now through Eventbrite.
