QUEER Screen recently partnered with St George Bank for the next two seasons, boosting the bank’s proud support of the LGBTI community.
The bank is the latest to partner with an LGBTI community, on the back of ANZ’s recent partnership with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and Commonwealth Bank’s major sponsorship of Bingham Cup 2014 Sydney.
Its annual calendar of film and screen events includes the Mardi Gras Film Festival, Queer Film Fest, plus new venture of Queer Screen and My Queer Career, a competition pioneering queer short film competitions exclusively for locally-produced work.
Queer Screen president Giovanni Campolo-Arcidiaco said: “We’re very happy to welcome our new major sponsor St George Bank. This exciting new partnership will allow us to deliver even better film festivals and events. The partnership with St George Bank will enable Queer Screen to expand its offering to the LGBTI community and widen its reach in bringing undiscovered talent and queer classics to a new audience.

Managed by Pink Media group, the new partnership is part of the bank’s diversity acceptance and support for the LGBTI community.
