Adam Lambert calls out Jackie O for suggesting he dates Ricky Martin because they’re “gay”

ADAM Lambert delivered an on-air smack down to Sydney breakfast radio hosts Kylie and Jackie O after they suggested that he and Ricky Martin should date.

Currently on a promotional tour for his latest album and new 2016 tour dates, the KIIS FM hosts said Lambert and Martin should date because they were both “single and gay”.

“Don’t do that, you’re not allowed to do that,” Lambert said.

“That’s so silly… Oh, a gay guy and another gay guy, oh you must date’, come on.”

But Jackie O would not let it go.

“No, there’s more to it than that,” she said.

To which Lamber responded sceptically: “Is there?”

“You’re both in the industry, you both understand each other’s schedule, you’re both hot… it would work,” Jackie O said.

“Well, that’s very sweet,” Lambert replied, without any hint of sincerity in his voice.

Lambert’s Original High tour will start in Melbourne on January 25 at The Palais Theatre, followed by Adelaide on January 28 at the AEC Theatre, and ending in Sydney, January 30 at the Enmore Theatre.
